Reacting to Deepika Padukone’s JNU visit, Kangana Ranaut said, “I think, she’s exercising her democratic right and she knows what she’s doing. I shouldn’t be with an opinion on what she is doing. It is not suitable for me to say that she should have done that or this. I can say what I need to do.”

I shouldn’t be with an opinion on what she’s doing. It’s not suitable for me to state that she should have done this or that. I can say what I need to do. I don’t want to stand with Tukre’s gang. I really don’t want to support anyone who wishes to divide this nation. I really don’t want to enable those who don’t have the nation’s welfare within their thoughts. I don’t need to remark on what she should have done,” she said.

Before, when she had been asked concerning the #JNUAttack, Kangana had said, “I would like to state these gang wars have been handled by dangerous and powerful individuals, which leaves both sides hurt; these matters shouldn’t be made into a federal issue. Police should take perpetrators into custody and give them slaps each.”
