Bollywood Actor Shahid Kapoor will turn a year older tomorrow and will be celebrating his birthday on the sets of his next film, ‘Jersey.’ While speaking to a news portal, the actor revealed that he is shooting in Chandigarh and that it will be a working birthday for him since he doesn’t want to take a break from the schedule.
While talking about his birthday memories, Shahid stated that he would grab gifts from the guests and run away, which would embarrass his mother. Father of two, Shahid, added that he hopes to teach his kids not to behave like that.
‘Jersey’ will see Shahid essay the role of cricket on the silver screen. The film is a remake of a Tamil sports drama by the same name. Gowtham Tinnanuri, who had called the shots for the original movie, is directing the Hindi remake too. ‘Jersey’ also features Mrunal Thakur in a pivotal role and is slated to hit the screens on August 28. Last year Shahid Kapoor earned a lot of praise for his act in ‘Kabir Singh’, which emerged as one of the highest grosser of 2019.
