The Hitesh Kewalya directorial, which opened at Rs 9 crore on Friday, saw a rise in its collection on the following days but failed to allure the audience to the theatres on Monday. The total collection of Rs 34.25 crore from the first four days, ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ is expected to end its first week around Rs 42-43 crore approximately.
Film ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ has received a mixed response from the critics as well as the audience. Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar and Gajraj Rao have also stepped up and delivered a stellar performance on the silver screen. In contrast, the film has witnessed a significant drop on its first Monday.
With just ‘Bala,’ ‘Dream Girl,’ ‘Badhaai Ho,’ and ‘Article 15’ earning more than ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan’ on the first Monday, it has managed to become Ayushmann’s fifth highest-grossing film on early Monday. Meanwhile, on the professional front, Ayushmann will soon be seen alongside Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo,’ which is slated to release on 17th April 2020.
