Filmmaker Rohit Shetty says on Delhi riots: Keep calm, keep quiet

The filmmaker asks individuals to remain calm in the face of communal tension in the aftermath of the continuing unrest in Delhi, urging fans not to spread rumors and dread without sufficient understanding of ground realities.

“What’s occurring in Delhi or the nation is a significant matter. There’s a whole group of folks discussing it. I think now the best thing is to maintain calm. Our officials as well as the authorities and the individuals are working on it in Delhi, stated Shetty, in the trailer launching of the impending action thriller’ Sooryavanshi’ at Mumbai on Monday.

The filmmaker included: “We are here in Mumbai in a trailer launching with a fantastic time, and also to chat about those enduring from Delhi will be the simplest thing to do. At the moment, the ideal thing would be to keep calm and quiet. Everybody is speaking, and that’s only increasing insanity. Keep calm, and folks are exercising the circumstance. It is dreadful and catastrophic. We should not indulge in these discussions at this time.”

At the launching, Shetty was followed closely by Akshay Kumar, together with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, who perform Bajirao Singham at ‘Singham’ and Sangram Bhalerao at ‘Simmba’ respectively namely both other supercops from the filmmaker’s Bollywood cop world.
