Banned from the state authorities, Shooter, a Punjabi movie glorifying the life span of gangster Sukha Kahlwan, was leaked for free download. Punjab’s CM Capt. Amarinder Singh banned the film before its scheduled launch on 21 February 2020. CM Capt. Amarinder Singh said in a statement that the movie promotes violence.
