Actress Diana Penty follows her gut feeling when it comes to picking scripts, and stated that it has never let her down.
Diana made her debut in 2012 using the megahit ‘Cocktail’ starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. She was seen in ‘Bhag Jayegi’ in 2016. In 2017, she starred in ‘Lucknow Central’ and ‘Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran’ and ‘Phirr Bhag Jayegi’ in 2018.
Is she picky if she selects scripts? “I would not call it being picky, although people often feel. It’s a very organic procedure. I know if it’s something that I want to be a part of not and pretty much browse the script/her narration. It’s as simple as that. I follow my gut, and it’s never let me down,” Diana told IANS.
Amid the lockdown, Diana has come out with an initiative to expand help and support to Mumbai Police. They have been in the forefront at the city’s struggle against the coronavirus outbreak.
On the work front, she’ll next be seen from the romantic drama ‘Shiddat’, which also stars Mohit Raina, Radhika Madan and Sunny Kaushal. She can be led by Kunal Deshmukh of”Jannat” fame on a script by Shridhar Raghavan and Dheeraj Rattan.
Speaking about the film to IANS, Diana had shared: ‘Shiddat’ is a gorgeous tale of love and the powerful bonds between people. It is intense and pure and also very relatable. I’m usually not a romance kind of man, but when I noticed the script, it moved me a lot.”
