The Boys season 3 is a go. At San Diego Comic-Con 2020 – known as [email protected] this year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic – The Boys Evan Goldberg and manufacturers Seth Rogen announced that Amazon Prime Video had renewed the superhero series for a third season. The Boys period three renewal comes six months before the start of The Boys year two, which signifies a vote of confidence. Additionally, an after-show was declared for The Boys season 2, to broadcast alongside the season.
Rogen and Goldberg made a distinctive appearance – as promised – towards the end of The Boys’ [email protected] panel, where they thanked the fans for viewing before Rogen added: “Since this show includes fans, and people like you watch it, they’ve decided to renew it again, for its next season. If you want The Boys, you have it.”
The Boys renewal at Comic-Con fits into a pattern, provided the show got its season two renewal at Comic-Con this past year. But unlike then, there is no timeline on when The Boys will have the ability to enter production to COVID-19. Rogen addressed that and said as much, noting that when they can picture The Boys season, 3 is”anybody’s guess” at the point.
As for The Boys season 2 after-show, those mentioned above, it is named Prime Rewind and Aisha Tyler, who served as the moderator for the panel that was [email protected] will hosts it. Episodes of Prime Rewind will be accessible instantly year two, which is airing this time around in a reversal of release strategy.
