On 14 June, the body of Sushant Singh Rajput was found inside a room in his flat in Mumbai. Sushant’s father KK Singh has lodged an FIR against Riya Chakraborty in Patna, and now on the recommendation of the Bihar government, a CBI inquiry into the matter has also started.
KK Singh is currently in Faridabad, Haryana. Sources have revealed that today the CBI team will go there and record the statements of Sushant’s father KK Singh and sister. The CBI may also seek evidence from KK Singh on the allegations levelled against Riya Chakraborty.
Sushant’s father in his FIR has accused Riya Chakraborty of abetting suicide, besides grabbing Rs 15 crore and giving him high doses of medicine. On all these points, the CBI team will investigate, and the claims of KK Singh will be investigated. The investigation team of CBI will also take the help of forensic experts and doctors. Along with this, the Vista report of Sushant will also be verified.
Sources have revealed that the CBI has also investigated the case diary. Bihar Police has recorded the statements of about ten eyewitnesses in this case. The call data record is also in the case diary. Apart from this, Sushant’s bank statement and other information have also been taken from Patna Police.
That is, the CBI will now go to the bottom of this whole case. However, the CBI investigation of this case is also being opposed. If the Supreme Court orders the CBI to continue the investigation, then the CBI will not need the permission of the Maharashtra government.
