Netflix has been hearing your prayers and has decided to provide original series Warrior Nun another season.
The truth is that is nothing short of a wonder, Netflix confirmed Warrior Nun’s impending return on its own official Twitter account yesterday (August 19). Showrunner Simon Barry delivered the exciting news for this drama’s cast.
After quizzing the group in their thoughts on season one, Barry then casually declared that a second run was on its way to Alba Baptista, Toya Turner, Lorena Andrea, Kristina Tonteri-Young, and Olivia Delcán.
“Perhaps you could all sort of tell me how you felt when you found out that year two was formally renewed?” He explained. “It is official. We’re coming back for season two! Check your calendar off.”
We’re not sure who is more excited – the throw, us, or the dog’s background.

In case you’ve been a sinner and have not yet caught Warrior Nun on Netflix, the fantasy show is adapted from Ben Dunn’s Manga series Warrior Nun Areala, which though sometimes severe, is also as camp and fun as you would expect.
Season 1 kicks off with a 19-year-old woman named Ava, who wakes up in a morgue to find an angel’s halo. The character of alba Baptista starts to embrace her new lease of life, along with a divine mission along with superpowers.
Warrior Nun season one is currently available to see on Netflix.
