A Financial Times report has revealed that the Tata Group is working on an e-commerce super app that will have multiple services available to users simultaneously. In this super app, not only shopping, but financial service and TV viewing will also be provided.
According to the report, this app will be launched by December 2020. According to the information given in the news, Tata Sons chairman N Chandrasekaran says that ‘this will be a super app in which many apps will be available simultaneously. This is a big opportunity for us.
Also, according to the report, Tata Group’s business revenue is $ 113 billion, which includes Star Quick and online electronic platform for shopping app Tat Click, grocery and e-store.
Besides, the company’s businesses include direct to home (DTH) satellite TV service Tata Sky, home broadband service Tata Sky Broadband, jewellery business Tanishq, Indian Hotels Company which operates Taj Hotels.
At the same time, it is believed that all the facilities like consumer durables, insurance, financial services, healthcare and bill payment will be made available in the upcoming super app of Tata group.
