Enjoying the most recent blockbuster at a crowded theater using a popcorn bag appears to be a distant prospect due to Covid-19 limitations. But using a profusion of OTT platforms such as Disney+Hotstar, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Alt Balaji, and counting, each living room is now a possible launchpad for a new release.
Below are some of the movies that were supposed to grace the screen and now make a splash in the electronic space.
Laxmmi Bomb is the much-awaited Hindi movie of Raghava Lawrence’s 2011 Tamil horror comedy Muni-2-Kanchana. Lawrence makes his directorial debut in Hindi with this particular movie. Many buzzes have been created already within the fact tha Akshay Kumar will be found in the odd role of a man possessed by a transgender girl’s vengeful spirit. The release date is a tentative November 13, 2020, and the movie will flow globally via Disney+Hotstar.
The Big Bull
The Big Bull is a lavishly mounted biopic produced by Ajay Devgn and veteran manufacturer Anand Pandit. Directed by Kookie Gulati, the crime thriller summarizes the entire life and livelihood of stockbroker Harshad Mehta who had been the key figure in the 1992 securities scam and lots of financial offenses from 1980 to 1990.
Abhishek Bachchan directs the cast with Nikita Dutta and Ileana D’Cruz in supporting functions. The film will stream worldwide on Disney+Hotstar.
Bhuj: The Pride of India
Bhuj: The Pride Of India is a war movie led and co-produced by Abhishek Dudhaiya. The other manufacturers are Bhushan Kumar, Ginny Khanuja, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Vajir Singh.
The movie revisits the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 to tell IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik’s narrative, who, along with his group and 300 rural women, reconstructed a ruined IAF airbase. Ajay Devgn plays the lead with Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar, Ammy Virk, and Pranitha Subhash. This movie will also be streamed globally on Disney+Hotstar.
The title Brahmāstra refers to a supernatural weapon mentioned in historical texts, and it’s also the title of a forthcoming Karan Johar production directed by Ayan Mukerji. Amitabh Bachchan as Lord Bramha and explores a relatively rare genre of a metaphorical, superhero thriller. The makers also refer to this movie as a”romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format.” Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna play pivotal roles. When published, the movie will function as the first movie in what promises to be a trilogy. The film also draws inspiration from the Persian poet Rumi whose famous line, “love is the bridge between you and that which” functions as the central theme in the film. Brahmastra will release on December 4, 2020. More details are awaited.
