Lucifer Season 5 Part 2: Release Date, Story And Here Are All The Details You Need To Know

At long last, we’ve got access to another dose of this charming devil called Lucifer. The first half of this show’s fifth season dropped on Netflix on August 21, 2020, and shattered Netflix’s TV streaming documents. For many, a weekend binge session soaked up all of the new season had to offer so far, quickly and economically. We have been patient long enough, after all — a global pandemic extended an already long wait, and we weren’t attempting to spend another time awaiting more experiences involving the dapper demon lord.

It was not too long, however, before we were left jonesing for more once again. Luckily, Netflix has announced that the series will return for a sixth season, which was a relief for lovers to listen to. Despite its prevalence, Lucifer has ever felt as though it is limping along, barely sneaking in for a different season every time network execs do a sweep. Lucifer lovers are dedicated, however, and even started petitions to keep the show rolling. This has no doubt helped the show continue to find a new lifestyle. The anxiety that this uncertainty creates may also bring about why each incident feels really gloriously satisfying, such as we are cheating death.

However, even as Lucifer’s fifth year’s thrill settles in, we are already looking ahead. Here’s what we know thus far about season 6 of Lucifer.

When is Lucifer season 5, part 2 released on Netflix?

While there’s no confirmed release date for Lucifer season five-component two just yet, we finally have a clearer idea of if the series will eventually finish filming.

TV Line reports the show is scheduled to restart production on Thursday, 24th September, with the priority being to finish the season five finale before starting work on the upcoming sixth (and final) season.

Tom Ellis had told Collider that the season five part two finale should take only”five or six days” to complete, at which point it only needs to be edited together and added into the footage shot.

Ellis went on to speculate on a release date, during a meeting with Pilot TV podcast: “Hopefully that’ll be prepared to go, I would imagine, kind of Christmastime or early next season.”

If all goes to plan, forecasts Lucifer period five-part two will be published in January 2021, allowing lots of time for the show to be released up.

But further delays are possible, especially given that Los Angeles has been among the USA’s hardest-hit cities. At the same time, the state of California continues reporting tens of thousands of new cases daily.

What will take place in Lucifer season 5, part 2?

Among the most exciting episodes in season five, part two is guaranteed to be the musical episode — branded Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam — that the show’s producers and cast have long been contested.

In DC, FanDomewe finally got our first glance at the rough installment, with a clip that sees Lucifer and his LAPD buddies Ella, Detective Decker, and Dan perform a rendition of Queen’s Another One Bites The Dust.

The atmosphere is an American college sports field, using a group of football players, cheerleaders, and brass band musicians getting in on the action with their own choreographed dances.

It is a fun clip, but the incident also looks set to pack an emotional punch; co-star Lauren German has teased a moment she found incredibly moving.

“Lucifer is in a challenging place, and Tom goes into the tune… and I was in my trailer only crying at how beautiful the moment is, and just knowing the moment from the story, it brought tears to my eye,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “It’s so absolutely touching and gorgeous… You are able to feel what he’s feeling, through the singing, and it is beautiful.”

There’s also the small issue of God’s arrival on Earth to look after, with Dennis Haysbert producing his debut in the midseason finale, ending things on a massive cliffhanger.
