Despite being ready to apologize to Richa Chadha during a hearing in the Bombay High Court, the actress who accused her of sexually assaulting Anurag Kashyap has refused to apologize on social media. The actress says that she did nothing wrong.
Richa Chadha claimed a loss of value to the actress for Rs 1.1 crore, which was heard in the Bombay High Court on Wednesday. Actress Nitin Satpute told the court that the actress is ready to conclude the case by apologizing to Richa Chadha. Richa Chadha shared this court proceeding on Twitter, quoting Satpute that his client had accepted the request. He is ready to apologize and withdraw his statement. However, shortly after this, the actress was shocked by tweeting that she would not apologize. The actress wrote – I am not apologizing to anyone. I have neither done anything wrong nor done any misrepresentation against anyone. I said what Anurag Kashyap told me.
Earlier in another tweet, the actress wrote – I have nothing to do with Miss Chadha. As women, we should stand by each other. I do not want to persecute myself or them in this matter. My fight for justice is with Mr Kashyap, and for now, I want to pay attention to him. Let us show the world their real face. Explain that a report has been lodged in this case at Versova police station in Mumbai against Anurag. He was also called for questioning in the past.
Explain that in September, this actress accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment. In an interview to Anurag, during that interview, the actress said that Anurag had told her how Richa Chadha and Huma Qureshi had compromised for the job. Richa then filed a loss-of-law suit against the actress for compensation of Rs 1.1 crore.

Actress Huma Qureshi also reacted to this update and wrote – Well done Richa. Huma Qureshi did not take any legal action against the actress, but she responded strongly by writing a post on Twitter and expressed anger over dragging her into it.
