Great Pretender Part 1: This is a statement for each anime lover waiting for a thriller anime series
Netflix is about to launch a Japanese offence anime collection, which is listed under Netflix Originals by August 2020 – GREAT PRETENDER. The series is written by Ryota Kurosawa and produced by WIT Studio. It had been broadcast on Japan’s Fuji TV.
This anime is not based on the Manga show but somehow based on the heist genre.
This is expected to turn out as a hit due to its intriguing animations, character development, narrative, and much more that we’ll see once the show appears on the displays.
Now many assumed the launch to postpone because on the ongoing pandemic, but the programmers assured that the release would take place in 2020 itself.
Part one of those anime has 14 episodes that will stream on Netflix on Thursday, which is 20th August 2020. It’ll release internationally but streamed in Japan in June 2020.
Edamura Masato is a professional swindler and best understood in the town for his act. He along with his partner in crime plots a plan to deceive a Frenchmen in Asakusa, just to be swindled in return. He later shows himself to Laurent Thierry, who’s known to be one of the greatest swindlers in the world and leader of the Mafia. Now, Laurent Thiery has to decide the fate of Edamura.

SEASON 2 OF THE ANIME
In Japan, only the first part of Great Pretender with 13 episodes has been released. The developers have announced the next part, but no confirmation was given. There is more to the series. Therefore we can expect another part to discharge by 2021.
