In Uttar Pradesh, in the Baksha region of Jaunpur district, bike riders shot at the Samajwadi Party (SP) leader due to electoral rivalry. He survived, but his wife was injured. He said that Chandra Shekhar Yadav, booth in-charge of SP, resident of Raidaspur village in the Baksha area of the district, was eating near the door of the house at around 9:30 pm on Wednesday.
