- “Euphoria” fans are getting a very early Christmas present.
The first of two particular episodes of the HBO hit play is set to fall several days on HBO Max. Viewers will have the ability to stream the event out of Thursday, Dec. 3 at 9 p.m. PT about the ceremony, a whole few days before its inherent HBO premiere.
News of this early launch comes only a couple of days later HBO published a brief preview for”Part 1: Rue.” It represents the most recent move by WarnerMedia to attempt to induce readers to its recently-launched platform. Early last week, fellow HBO play “Industry” introduced its final five episodes on HBO Max nicely before the linear program. Add to the fact that”Magic Woman 1984″ has been published both in theatres and on HBO Max exactly the same day, and it is apparent WarnerMedia is on the marketplace for experimentation with its launch strategy across the movie and TV.
These particular episodes pick up right after this season 1 finale, where Rue (Zendaya) utilizes cocaine and relapses following her girlfriend Jules (Hunter Schafer) gets on a train and leaves her following their high school winter formal. Rue sits at a diner considering her life when she runs into Ali (Colman Domingo), whom she met in her Narcotics Anonymous meetings.
The first episode will locate Rue in the wake of being abandoned by Jules in the railway station and relapsing. The incident, written and helmed by show founder Sam Levinson, follows Rue because she celebrates Christmas.
