The show won several awards, including Critics Choice Television Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, and Primetime Emmy Awards. Let’s know more about its upcoming season.
When is The Morning Show season 2 release date?
Apple has officially confirmed that the production house is gearing up for season 2, although, it is not much of a surprise, the producers had already made up their mind for a two ten-episode series. Considering the tumultuous end of season 1, fans anticipated that there is much more left to explore in season 2.
So, now because of the pandemic, we can expect the show to go on the floor in March next year. Calculating all the time required in writing, filming, and editing, March 2021, is the show’s most expected release date.
The Morning Show Season 2 Cast: Who will be in?
Still, there is no information regarding its actual star cast. So far, all main actors of the first season are expected to return for a second season. Jennifer Aniston and Witherspoon were appearing again in season 2, but not confirmed about Steve Carell. We are wishing Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Bel Powley, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, and Desean Terry may come back.
‘The Morning Show’ Season 2 Plot Details
It’s hard to say where The Morning Show plans to go from here. Season 1 was a corkscrew of plot twists. The first season started as a vaguely passable “older woman versus younger woman” industry “comedy.” But over 10 episodes, it morphed into a story about women in the industry genuinely banding together against the men who oppress them. It ended with Alex and Bradley doing a live on-air version of Thelma and Louise’s drive off the cliff, as they both revealed, live on air, the toxic attitudes of their station and how the top brass of their company lied to the public.
The new season will likely begin with the fallout from that decision by Alex and Bradley, but how it affects the world around them remains to be seen.
