For all the fans looking forward to another season, Dead is coming on Netflix for year 3, which will likewise, unfortunately, be the show’s last year. Here is the latest and all that we know so far about what we can expect going into the last season of Dead season 3
Dead to Me season 3: Expected Plot
In season 3, the story will continue from season 2, and many mysteries will be unlocked by one.
The Crash Aftermath
On his way to recognizing the body of his dead brother Steve, Ben hit the car that Jen and Judy were all in. Both of these are conscious but got injured. If they know that Ben was driving the other car, we could expect an awkward experience between them. It’s uncertain if Ben even realized it was Jen and Judy he hit.
Charlie finds Judy’s Letter
After hunting Judy’s space for a few weeks, Charlie finds the letter that his mom, Jen, had written for Judy. It’s not revealed if Charlie really read the letter, but when he has, then he’ll come to understand about Judy’s involvement in his dad’s bang death.
After Charlie learns about his father’s death, he could either end up blackmailing Judy and Jen or make their life miserable.
Whatever lies ahead, 1 thing is assured, year 3 of this show will probably be as exciting as the past two seasons. Back in September 2020, Feldman tweeted, “Just pitched all @deadtome Season 3 into my spouses at @Netflix and they are excited and I am excited and I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY’RE GONNA LET ME TELL THIS STORY.”

During an interview with Deadline in July,” Feldman revealed, “there was a definite point when we were in production on Season 2 when the end of the series came to me, pretty profoundly, so I realized,’I understand the story that I have to inform’ and Season 3 feels like the ideal moment to do that. It’s just something that came to me organically, and I have a tendency to attempt and follow the gut feelings I have.”
On the renewal of the Dead to Me for period 3, Christina Applegate chose social media to share her thoughts and ideas regarding the previous season, saying, “I will miss these ladies. But we felt this was the ideal approach to link up to the story of those girls. Thank you to all the fans. We’ll definitely be getting back to work when it’s safe to do so.”

It’s quite likely that the next season will have the main characters played by Christina Applegate (Jen) and Linda Cardellini (Judy). A lot of those supporting cast, such as James Marsden, playing the role of Ben, Steve’s semi-identical brother, will be returning as well.
Additionally, there could be some additions to the star cast. But the final names are still pending confirmation.
