Marvel plans to develop various content for Disney +. After the success of the premiere of ‘WandaVision’, Marvel New Media and the streaming platform announce ‘Marvel’s Behind the Mask’.
A release distributed by Marvel says the documentary will feature a wide range of guests throughout the legendary 80-year history of comics.
Although exact details were not revealed, the statement suggests that the documentary will look at the rise in Black Panther, Miles Morales, Ms Marvel, Luke Cage, the X-Men, and Captain Marvel, among others.
They announce ‘Marvel’s Behind the Mask’, a documentary that “explores the power of identity behind the world’s most iconic Super Heroes we know and love.”
The documentary will join ‘Marvel 616’, another Marvel New Media production, in addition to a large number of content from Marvel Studios.
“From the beginning of the comics, secret identities have been an integral part of both superheroes and villains who lead ‘normal’ lives. But it’s the characters underneath that resonate within us through generations of fans,” notes the synopsis for ‘Marvel’s Behind the Mask.’
These legendary Marvel creations and stories have not only reflected the world outside our window, but they have also become a reflection of our own identities and who we are.
Joe Quesada, Shane Rahmani, Stephen Wacker, John Cerilli, Harry Go, and Sarah Amos produced Marvel New Media’s project along with a team from Tarmac Creative.
The release date of ‘Marvel’s Behind the Mask’ will be February 12 by Disney +, at least in the United States, so far it has not been said in Latin America, but it could be at the same time.
