Narendra Chanchal (famous for singing bhajans of Bhajan Samrat and mother in Jagrata) died today after prolonged illness at Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Narendra Chanchal was 80 years old.
Due to increasing weakness in terms of age, he was admitted to Apollo Hospital for two months. According to reports, he breathed his last around 12:30 pm today.

Narendra Chanchal was born on October 16, 1940, in Namak Handi, Amritsar. He was raised in a very religious environment. After a lot of struggle, he got work in Bollywood. He also sang songs in several films like Bobby, Anam and Roti Kadam and Makan.
Narendra Chanchal used to visit Vaishno Devi every year
He wrote everything about his journey in his biography Midnight Singer. Narendra Chanchal visited Vaishno Devi every year on December 29 and performed on the last day of the year.
