Jurassic World 3: Everything We Know

Jurassic World 3

The money machine and world nostalgia engine work in such a way that the two Jurassic World films taken from the original trilogy that ended with a disappointing third film have grossed more than $ 2.8 billion worldwide, combined, something that would have been a dream. Even for Steven Spielberg’s 1993 original. Both are in the top 15 highest-grossing movies of all time.

What I find funny here is that neither of the two new films has received the acclaim or universal love that Spielberg’s original and even ‘Lost World’ received, with many criticizing the need for sequels in the first place, and the audience . claiming that the franchise had run its course, and anything beyond the third was cash theft, which it probably was. Yet whenever there’s news of a new Jurassic movie, fans and audiences around the world have their radars flashing with excitement, resulting in unprecedented turnout and footfall in theatres when they arrive. The reason? Dinosaurs, simple.

With his 93 original, Spielberg unlocked something even he probably didn’t know appealed to our sense of wonder more than outer space, superheroes, and even fairy tales, as box office figures would suggest: genetically recreated and later, genetically. Modified dinosaurs, existing in our world, interacting with us. It was almost as if through the novel of the same name, Spielberg served a deep-seated desire that sought fulfilment within us. And 26 years later, here we are, discussing when the next one will come out after the fifth one just broke ticket sales records last year. Well, there have been quite a few developments, and we list them all here as everything we know so far about the sixth movie in the franchise, or the third in the nearly rebooted “Jurassic World” franchise. Keep reading.

Jurassic World 3 Plot: What is it about?

Jurassic World 3

Usually, he rants about the movie’s ending that would give us the possible direction the third “Jurassic World” movie could take, beforehand. But in this case, we have been blessed with an official 8-minute short film from the film’s creators, called ‘Battle at Big Rock’, and those eight minutes are all there is to see to find out what you can expect. At least from the first half of the movie.

It relates to the end of the second film in which Isla Nublar’s captive dinosaurs on the Lockwood estate are freed by Maisie, escaping the estate’s grounds and roaming the world freely. Still, it describes that some time has passed since then, and the appearance of dinosaurs amid the human environment is a little more normalized if I have to call it that than it would have been if dinosaurs had broken into our world.

Dr Ian Malcolm, also played by the effervescent Jeff Goldblum, ended the second film on an anticipatory note, heralding the arrival of a “neo-Jurassic” era in which humans and dinosaurs would have to coexist together, as shown by the images. Freed dinosaurs roaming the jungles and suburbs interrupted his speech. There’s more to that in the short film, so let’s talk about that in-depth.

Jurassic World 3 Cast: Who’s In It?

Both Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard are set to reprise their roles from the two movies for a third. They would be joined by Justice Smith as Franklin Webb, Daniella Pineda as Zia Rodríguez, and Isabella Sermon as Maisie Lockwood, the ‘Fallen Kingdom’ clone that I think will have a key role to play in the third. I also count on Jeff Goldblum as Dr Ian Malcolm to appear one last time in the series, even if he is in a cameo-like ‘Fallen Kingdom’.

Jurassic World 3 Crew: Who’s Behind?

Colin Trevorrow from the first film will return to direct the end of a purported trilogy in the new Jurassic films, reportedly at the special request of Steven Spielberg. The latter will also serve as the film’s executive producer. Trevorrow will also write the script and screenplay alongside Emily Carmichael. The film will be released worldwide by Universal films.

Jurassic World 3 Release Date: When Will It Be Released?

Jurassic World 3 is set for release on June 11, 2021. Filming on the film is expected to be underway at Pinewood Studios in early 2020.

Jurassic World 3 Trailer:

While there is no trailer, you can check out the short film that I talked about earlier in the article, “Battle at Big Rock,” which serves as an extended trailer on its own. However, we will update this section with a trailer as soon as it arrives. That being said, we shouldn’t expect anything before the end of next year, as filming has only just begun on this one, as the footage from the short suggests.
