The three-hour Chakka Jam of farmers called in protest against agricultural laws has ended. In Fatehabad, Haryana, the farmers ended the program of chakka jam by playing horn of vehicles. The nationwide Chakka Jam program was peaceful. Except for Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, farmers blocked the highways during Chakka Jam. The protesting farmers blocked many other highways, including the Palwal Highway. Delhi was kept on high alert in view of Chakka Jam. Tight security arrangements were made in the national capital. Around 50,000 soldiers were deployed in Delhi-NCR.
Warning to farmers’ government
Thousands of farmers who reached the Titram turn blocked the national highway during Chakka Jam. Children, women and men reached the jam site riding on foot, trains and tractor trolleys. The farmers said that the agitation would continue till the agricultural laws are withdrawn. The farmers have warned the government that no matter how long it takes, the protest will continue, if the government realizes that the movement will be weak due to a long time, then it is a mistake of the government.

Eastern Peripheral Expressway closed by putting tractor and truck
During the Chakka Jam, farmers also closed the Eastern Peripheral Expressway at Sonepat. The farmers closed the Eastern and Western Peripheral Expressways by planting their tractors and big trucks. During this time, the farmers let the ambulance go. Meanwhile, farmers blocked the KGP-KMP near the Kundali border.

According to the news agency ANI, during the chakka jam called by the farmers’ organizations, the farmers also blocked the highway on the Jammu-Pathankot highway, Amritsar-Delhi National Highway, Shahjahanpur (Rajasthan-Haryana) National Highway near the border.

Punishment will be given for an unpleasant incident: Tikait
Amid the farmers’ chakka jam, the farmer leader and Bhartiya Kisan Union national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait told news agency ANI, “Today the chakka jam is being done peacefully everywhere. If any untoward incident happens then, the punishment will be given. ”

SFI people protesting in slogans
Meanwhile, around 8.27 pm, about eight people of the SFI associated with the JNU suddenly raised slogans carrying posters, banners in front of Shaheedi Park on the route leading from ITO to Lal Quila. The police took those protesters who were raising slogans into custody.
