Actress Taapsee Pannu, producer Anurag Kashyap, director Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena of Talent Hunt Company Kwan have raided the Income Tax (IT) department on Wednesday. In recent times, Anurag Kashyap and Tapsu Pannu had opposed the Modi government on many issues. On the raids of the IT department, social media users said – you have the freedom to speak, but there is no freedom after speaking.

Another user criticized the Modi government, ‘I was told by an IRS officer that income tax raid is always secular. Anyone disputing this is communal, or an income tax thief. Discuss it ‘liberally’.

Modi government’s sense of revenge – Congress
Congress leader and cabinet minister in Maharashtra government, Ashok Chavan has called this rad an act of vengeance of the Modi government. Shiv Sena MP Priyanka Chaturvedi shared the post by writing- Hopefully the income tax department of our country will come out of the situation of bonded slavery soon. There is a similar hope for ED and CBI.
Nawab Malik, a minister in the Maharashtra government, said, “For the past several days, Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee Pannu were speaking against the policies of the Modi government, so this action has been taken by the government to suppress them.
Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said, “It is wrong to see every case related to politics, the investigation agencies have their work and they are doing their work, this matter will also go to court.”
